SEAI has a grant available for retrofitting Solar PV to houses built before 2021. To qualify for this, grant the installation must be carried out by an SEAI registered installer, such as Green Electric.
There is also a post works BER required, but don’t worry, we can organise this for you.
The grant is paid on a pro rata basis e.g. for a 2.5kWp system the grant value would be €1,725. The total Solar PV grant is capped at €1,800.
